Staite began acting at six, starting out in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. She has amassed an extensive resume since that time; receiving several Leo Awards and Gemini nominations along the way. Best-known roles of Staite include Kaylee Frye in Firefly/Serenity as well as Dr. Jennifer Keller from Stargate Atlantis series; as Catalina on Nickelodeon science fiction show Space Cases.

Zach Smadu

Zach Smadu, best known for playing Dr. Fayez Sarkis on Titans and Family Law respectively, also appeared in Canadian Screen Awards winner Kim’s Convenience as well as having recurring roles on cult sci-fi favourite The Expanse and is co-host of OneyPlays Let’s Play web series.

Smadu was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan before beginning his theatrical journey through musical theatre, dance and acting. After studying at University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College he now resides in Toronto and hopes to expand his art with projects that push his artistic creativity further. Family Law cast member, Smadu takes pride in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle with morning journaling and physical fitness as daily routines that help him find balance between work and life – as well as spending quality time with family and friends.

Genelle Williams

Genelle Williams began acting while still in high school and has developed her craft on the Canadian theatre circuit since. Her performances in plays like A Raisin in the Sun and A Streetcar Named Desire garnered critical acclaim, while she regularly guest stars on popular television series like Radio Free Roscoe and Degrassi: The Next Generation as a guest star as well as appearing in made-for-television films.

Family Law follows Abigail Bianchi (Jewel Staite). She works at her father’s law firm, Svensson and Associates, managing cases while trying to improve relationships with both of her half siblings – her half brother and sister.

Williams first rose to fame as Leena on Syfy’s Warehouse 13 from its premiere in July 2009 to its midpoint during season four in October 2012, having also appeared on Lovebites, The Line and Taking A Chance On Love as well as having regular roles on Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye and Flashpoint – two drama television series from Canada.
