Florida Bar Opens Investigation Into Attorney Who Flipped the Bird

which attorney flipped the bird

The Florida Bar has initiated an investigation against one of mass shooter Nikolas Cruz’s defense team members after she was caught on video flipping off cameras and laughing along with him in court.

Tamara Curtis’ actions provoked outrage from victims’ families, such as Fred Guttenberg – father of 14-year-old victim Jaime who condemned Tamara Curtis online.

Tamara Curtis

Florida’s State Bar Association announced Tuesday it has initiated an inquiry into one of Nikolas Cruz’s attorneys after she was caught on video showing off her middle finger to cameras during a pre-sentencing hearing, prompting outrage from victims’ families who view such gestures as disrespectful.

Video footage captured of Curtis appears to show her reacting negatively towards media cameras in the room by giving a dismissive wave and raising her middle finger against her cheek. Cruz quickly laughs in response.

Curtis hails from Parkland, Florida and graduated from Ohio State’s Moritz College of Law in 2004. Since then she has been practicing law – with little time in practice as yet – yet already she’s trending on Google – not just due to her flipping the bird but because she was laughing alongside a person who killed 17 people; that cannot be okayed! Justice should come first without lawyers interfering.

Buster Murdaugh

Buster Murdaugh has had to bear much pressure as the son of Alex Murdaugh; allegations and investigations have surfaced, yet Buster is managing everything well.

Recently, Buster appeared to throw shade at Mark Tinsley while taking the witness stand regarding his lawsuit against Michael Murdaugh and kick over a water bottle. Due to their behavior, both they and Lynn were asked to leave the front row following this incident and warned they will be banned from further court trials should any inappropriate moves continue to be made; unfortunately Randy and John weren’t given this warning.

Buster was attending the University of South Carolina School of Law when he was accused of plagiarism in 2019. Since then, he’s been working to get back in and has also found himself embroiled in several scandals surrounding his family.

Robert Reynal

Reynal serves on the board of American Airlines and as CEO of Gardner Denver, recently acquired by industrial solutions provider Ingersoll Rand. Additionally, he served as chairman and president of Danaher.

Reynal left his entire estate to Louise Werner Reynal and their two daughters as beneficiaries in his last will and testament. Between his fur trade investments, medical practice, lands holdings and investments as well as land holdings that made up his fortune, Reynal became one of the richest people in St Charles County.

Reynal has proven ineffective as Jones’ defense attorney against Sandy Hook parents despite his wealth. Reynal joined Jones’ legal team eleven times before him and is responsible for much of what each attorney before him has done; nonetheless he’s trying to find arguments on behalf of his client–one who claims no 6-year-old boy died at school because parents acted as crisis actors; ultimately the jury will determine how much Jones must pay the victims’ families in damages.

Mark Tinsley

Mark Tinsley, who represented Mallory Beach’s family after she died in Paul Murdaugh’s drifting boat accident, won over audiences with his legal expertise and perseverance when facing adversity. Additionally, his recent appearance at Alex Murdaugh murder trial won hearts.

Buster and Maggie’s son was caught showing a disrespectful gesture towards Tinsley while giving evidence in court on Thursday, apparently because he was upset over being asked to move further back and kicking over his water bottle as an act of protest.

Tinsley filed a lawsuit against Murdaugh over the incident and began inquiring into his finances after he stated he could not pay the amount demanded by Ms Smith, who testified against her husband. Murdaugh then cross-examined Tinsley about donating $1,000 to an GoFundMe page set up for Ms Smith during her testimony against Murdaugh.
